With the decline of Facebook organic reach, Facebook page owners have had to remain creative in order to still benefit from Facebook as a marketing channel.
Facebook reach is the total number of people who were shown your post on their timeline.
The difference between “organic reach” and “paid reach” is that the latter was shown your post through paid distribution.
Organic reach has declined to around 2% to 5%. In other words, you can expect your Facebook post reach to be about 2% to 5% of your fans. So if you have 1,000 fans, your posts will be shown to about 30 to 30 of them only.
The good news is that there are many ways someone can increase your Facebook reach, without relying on paid advertising.

The first strategy to increase your Facebook organic reach is to publish your posts at optimal times. In other words, at times when your audience is most likely to see your posts. In order to discover your optimal times, simply go to your Facebook page and click on “insights” and then click on “posts”.
When you do, you’ll notice a grid with all your posts and a column which displays how many engagements each post received. Take a note of the posts that received the most engagement and notice the time and dates they were published.
Above the grid there is a graph that also displays when your fans are online. Hover your mouse on the peak of the graph to display the time most of your fans are online.
The second strategy to increase your Facebook organic reach is to embed your Facebook posts on your website. This will allow many more people to see your posts even when they’re not on Facebook.
To embed your posts, simply go to your Facebook page and select a post you want to embed.
Then click on the 3 dots and select “embed”. Then simply copy and paste the code on your website.
The third strategy to increase your post reach publish engaging, multi-dimensional and relevant posts. The more unique and engaging your posts are, the more people will interact which triggers Facebook to show your posts to even more people. Because the more people engage, the more your organic reach increases. You can also increase your organic reach if you buy Facebook followers cheap from websites like earthweb.
To spark engagement, you can even ask people in your post, to engage by either liking your post, sharing your post or leaving a comment.
The fourth strategy to increase your Facebook organic reach is to invite your fans to set up notifications to be notified when you publish a new post.
All they need to do is click on “follow” below your banner, and turn the notifications on. Make sure when you invite your audience to turn on notifications, you give clear instructions on how they can do it.
You can invite them to be notified by simply writing a post on your Facebook page and advertising the post to all your Facebook fans, to make sure most of them see the invitation.
The fifth strategy to increase your post reach is to leverage the power of Facebook live.
Facebook live is Facebook’s live-streaming video functionality. Facebook users can find your live videos in their newsfeed if they are your friends or follow you, or can find your live videos broadcast from your business page if they are fans of your page.
Facebook live is a good tool to use is because Facebook prioritises live videos. Organic reach is much higher for Facebook live videos than standard posts. In other words, Facebook will show your live broadcast in the newsfeed of more people than they will show your standard posts.
To start a Facebook live video, simply go to your page, click on the “live” tab below your banner and follow the prompts.

The sixth strategy to increase your Facebook post reach is to tag people and pages in your posts.
When you tag someone, it creates a link to their profile and when you tag a page it creates a link to the page. The post you tag a person in may also be added to that person’s timeline.
For example, you can publish a picture that includes other people. If that’s the case, make sure you tag these people in your posts to state who the people in the picture are. That post will potentially be shown on the timeline of the people tagged, and therefore increase your Facebook post reach.
Plus when people are tagged they receive a notification, which draws their attention to your post. Plus, the post can potentially be shown to the friends of the people who were tagged.
Lastly, to increase your Facebook post reach, upload unique videos. For the past few years Facebook has been prioritizing video posts over text based posts.
However, make sure you upload a video instead of sharing a link to a video to benefit from more organic reach Videos play automatically in people’s newsfeeds without sound, and viewers have to unmute the video for the sound to play.
Your videos don’t have to be fancy, but if you want people to be able to understand your video without putting the sound up, include captions. Plus, your videos have to be worth watching, so share quality information that will benefit your audience.
For example, if you are in the keto diet industry, your videos could demonstrate how to make quick and easy keto meals. If you’re in the golf industry, your video could share tips on how to improve a golf swing. In addition, the first few seconds of your video should be attention grabbing to entice people to keep on watching instead of clicking away.
The strategies above on how to increase your Facebook reach will make a big difference when it comes to getting your content seen by more people without relying on paid advertising.
Remember, the more post reach you have, the more exposure your content gets. And, the more exposure your content gets, the more likely you are to generate traffic, leads and sales.

Hi Janice,
If you want interaction on your website, you can publish posts on Facebook which you then
embed on your website. Then, people will be able to comment on that post directly on your website.
Ideally, if you want to increase interaction on your website, it’s best to add a blog.
Hope this helps!
