Only in an Instagram profile bio, can you include a clickable link to your websites so this is why it is really prime real estate and you have to ensure that the information you include in your Instagram profile bio, entices people to click on the link.
There are many important elements you need to include in order to create an engaging and attention grabbing Instagram profile bio.
First, you need to be selective about the information you’ll share in your bio because you are limited to 150 characters. So make sure only what is the most important information is shared. Ideally, your Instagram bio should reflect what you do and how you help people.
When writing creative Instagram bios, avoid focusing too much on talking about how great your business is, instead make it about your target audience and how they can benefit from following you on Instagram and of course how they can benefit even further when they click on your link.

For example, if you are in the parenting niche, good Instagram bios could be something like:
“Parenting coach passionate about helping mothers and fathers of toddlers raise happy and confident children thanks to proven parenting strategies”.
In this example, who the target market is, is made obvious, it’s mothers and fathers of toddlers, and how they are helped is also made obvious, it’s through “proven parenting strategies”.
What also makes great Instagram bios is when it is changed from time to time. Just like advertising messages can suffer from “ad fatigue” so can good Instagram bios.
If you’ve had the same short bio for Instagram for a long time, don’t hesitate to make a few changes to it every few months. You can even change your short bio for Instagram more often if you promote different links. Always customize your creative Instagram bios based on the link you are promoting.

Great Instagram bios also include a trackable link. In other words, when you include a link, make sure you have created a special tracking link just for Instagram. When you do, you’ll be able to see how many people have clicked on your link just thanks to your Instagram efforts.

If you have multiple links you’d like to promote on Instagram and don’t want to constantly have to rotate them, you can use tools that allow you to have one link that when clicked on, displays all the different places people can choose to be redirected to.
Linktree for example is a tool that allows you to do it and celebrity chef Jamie Oliver uses it for his link. When you click on the link in his Instagram bio, you get redirected to a special page which lists all the different places you can visit.
For example, you can be redirected to his cooking class web page or his cook book website.
Great Instagram bios also include branded hashtags. On Instagram and many other social networks, you can create your own hashtag for your brand to invite people to include it in their posts when referring to your business as well as to invite people to find the conversations happening on social media around your brand.
This is why the brand Nike includes their branded hashtag #justdoit in their bio. The brand Muddy Buddy has good insta bios because it includes their branded hashtag #muddybuddy in their Instagram bio.
If you want your Instagram bio to include a link to a video, you can also use an ai video generator.
Good insta bios also include a call-to-action. Just adding a link is not enough. You have to clearly invite people to click on the link in the bio or else it’s a missed opportunity.

Lastly, when writing good Instagram bios make sure you include specific keywords for which you want to rank for in the search results.
If you are in the natural skin care industry for example, then make sure you include keywords relevant to your industry. When you do, anyone looking for these keywords will be able to find your account in the search results.
For example, if you type in the Instagram search bar, the keyword “natural organic skin care”, the accounts which include these keywords in their bio will be listed.
